Course Code: AHA Blended: Heartsaver® First Aid (Skills Session)
American Heart Association’s blended learning delivery method for the Heartsaver® First Aid course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner (online), followed by a hands-on session for skills check off (approximately 30 minutes).
NO Registrations or Payments will be accepted less than 72 hours prior to the start of class. Students who register and make a secure PayPal payment at least 72 hours prior to class will receive an automated class confirmation. There are NO refunds for students who “no-show” or cancel unless other arrangements have been made.
AHA Blended Heartsaver® First Aid Skills Check
This is a 3-part course, intended for healthcare providers who have direct patient care responsibilities, such as doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, EMTs, etc. HeartCode BLS Part 1 is an online course which tests didactic learning, including the course written exam. The online portion of the course, HeartCode BLS Part 1 is accessed using a “key code” on the AHA online website. The student must complete the online portion of the course to be eligible for the Skills Session. After completing PART 1, you will need to print your Certificate of Completion from the eLearning session (Part 1) and present this document to your instructor to gain access to the Skills Session.
Class Cost: $65 per participant
Admission to a skills session: Student must present their Certificate of Completion for the online portion of the course to the AHA instructor. (Sorry, there are no exceptions)
