Course Code: AHA Heartsaver CPR-AED & Basic First Aid

This course is designed for any lay rescuer with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR/AED and First AID due to job responsibilities or regulatory requirements.

The AHA Basic First Aid course helps students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. This first aid training program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines.

Intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire, or are required, to be certified in basic emergency medical care.

These courses are intended for lay rescuers only. Students in the healthcare field or wishing to enter the healthcare profession should take "American Heart Association BLS Provider Course"

Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED/FIRST AID Course Completion Card that is valid for 2 years.

During the course, an AHA Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice.

NO Registrations or Payments will be accepted less than 72 hours prior to the start of class. Any payments received after this time will be refunded or transferred to a future class date. Students who register and make a secure PayPal payment will receive an automated e-mail confirmation confirming a seat has been reserved.

  • Trains the participant in the life-saving skills of Adult & Child CPR, use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking.

  • The American Heart Association enforces a policy that each student must have a student manual for class. You may purchase a hard-copy (15-1020) or electronic-copy (15-3116) of the student manual from any of the AHA’s trusted product distributors.

Class Cost: $110 per participant-Includes training and course completion card
