Course Code: AHA BLS-New Provider
This American Heart Association course is for health care professionals who work in a variety of settings. It is intended for the first time student or one whose certification is expired.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card is valid for two years.
Students receive four hours of classroom instruction by an AHA BLS Instructor. The course includes BLS skills practice, skills testing and a written exam.
NO Registrations or Payments will be accepted less than 72 hours prior to the start of class. Any payments received after this time will be refunded or transferred to a future class date. Students who register and make a secure PayPal payment will receive an automated e-mail confirmation confirming a seat has been reserved.
AHA BLS Provider (New Provider)
BLS Provider (New): The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare providers caring for patients both in prehospital, and in-facility environments who are taking this course for the first time or have an expired American Heart Association BLS Certification card.

- The American Heart Association enforces a policy that each student must have a provider manual for class. If you are taking this course for the first time or you are a renewal participant who does not have a student manual, please purchase a provider manual, either hard-copy (15-1010) or electronic-copy (15-3102) from any of the AHA’s trusted product distributors.
*This is an introduction to the compression/ventilation rate and ratio for patient who has an advanced airway in place

- The American Heart Association enforces a policy that each student must have a provider manual for class.
